Manacá, 1927 – Tarsila do Amaral

Inspired by the Brazilian shrub of the same name, Tarsila created one of the most complex works in her catalogue. In nature, the Manacá does not display all these colors, but the artist chose to explore other shades and tones, emphasizing her creative freedom — just as I aimed to do in this piece.
